If horses had wings,
They would march with the Penguins;
Flop-flips, hop-hips, blong-blings,
Little Blue, Yellow-eyed, Emperors & Kings.
If horses had wings,
They would fly along the Springs;
Neigh-ing, quack-quacking, splashing,
Yearlings, Ducklings & Waxwings.
If horses had wings,
There would be a tune they sings;
Trang-trings, Clang-Dings, Yodellings,
Drafts, Hot-bloods, Orientals & Kiangs.
If horses had wings,
They would sit in the railings;
Pong-Pings, Zong-Zings, Poop-ings,
Done with my words and rhymings’…
PS: Most of the Onomatopoeia used, individually have actual meaning. The last line of stanzas 1 & 3 are different type of breeds.
